Jardin, Colombia, is a place where life slows down, and every moment feels grounded in tradition and connection. Afternoons in the town square were timeless—locals gathering over coffee, sharing stories, and watching the world move at its unhurried pace. It felt like stepping back in time, where community and ritual were still at the heart of daily life.
We stayed at a coffee plantation perched high on a steep hill, surrounded by lush greenery and endless views. The sense of care and connection extended beyond the scenery—every meal was delivered by someone who walked miles to bring it to us, a quiet yet profound act of kindness that stayed with me.
Documenting Jardin felt personal. As someone born in Colombia, there was something deeply meaningful about capturing the town’s beauty—the way its colors, landscapes, and people tell their own stories. From the peaceful rhythm of the plantation to the buzzing energy of the town square, Jardin left me longing to return before I’d even left.
